When our stuff and paperwork gets on top of us, we may feel like we ought to be able to sort it ourselves. However when we admit we can’t face it and we keep putting it off, then Lorraine is just the person to kindly and efficiently help. Lorraine is trustworthy and skilled in all aspects and can make a home or office back into a friendly welcoming place. Also great if you want to move house but can’t face sorting all your stuff.
I had a very emotional move earlier in the year, moved to a small 2 bed house after my husbands death. I found it very difficult to decide what can go & what to keep. Lorraine was my saviour she wasn’t all pushy & gave me time, nothing was rushed. I had to clear the loft and a bedroom but due to a bad back I couldn’t do it all myself. So, I contacted Lorraine after finding her on the S.H.D. and she popped around the next day, gave me a price, which was very reasonable, and then returned later and got stuck in. Each item was shown to me for a “keep” or “throw” decision and the unwanted stuff was cleared. The stuff I wanted was then boxed up, labelled and stored. I was able to redecorate the bedroom and the loft is far tidier.
“I contacted Lorraine at Harmonise Your Life after seeing a Facebook post. Ive had problems with clutter for years, so this was a big step. The recent death of a close family member had made me contemplative, and ready to make changes. I liked the fact Lorraine has life coaching skills, amongst many others. The areas I needed help with were discussed via email and a consultation in person arranged at our home. After considering a budget and the time I could dedicate to the sessions, we agreed to do 4 hour sessions fortnightly. This worked well as it gave me time to deal with items, and do work in between. In 6 weeks, and only 3 sessions, my garage has been transformed. Its been hard work and isnt finished, but the workshop I was hoping to create is taking shape! Lorraine is patient, sensitive to the situation, and has worked through the chaos in my wake, in Lorraines words I’ve “moved mountains’ we both have! Ive been worried that I would continue to move my clutter from place to place, but I now realise thats just part of the process of dealing with it ive never been past before. I have a spare room and loft to work through , i know who to call….”
